WHAT WE ACCEPT

Career Reality accepts the following types of communication:

Factual corrections: If you find an error in salary data, market claims, or sourcing, share the article URL and supporting evidence. Corrections with verifiable data get priority treatment.
Methodology questions: If you disagree with how we framed a trade-off or weighted a risk factor, explain what you think we missed. We publish methodology notes for transparency.
Topic suggestions: If you have experienced a career pattern or trade-off that deserves editorial coverage, describe the situation with enough detail for us to assess editorial value.
Data contributions: Anonymous salary data, layoff reports, and hiring freeze signals can be submitted through our Salary Drop and Layoff Radar tools.

CORRECTIONS POLICY

When a factual error is confirmed, we correct the article within 48 hours and add a dated correction note to the article's update log. The original claim is struck through (not deleted) so that readers can see what changed and why. Corrections are permanent and visible.

If a correction materially changes the article's conclusion, we update the verdict section and note the revision in the Career Reality Index changelog where applicable.

Typical response window is 3-5 business days. During major market events, response times may stretch.

What we do not offer

Personalized career counseling.
Resume rewrites or direct referrals.
Paid "positive mention" packages.
Link exchanges disguised as collaboration.

How to submit a correction

Share the exact article URL.
Quote the specific statement in question.
Provide supporting evidence or source link.

"This feels wrong" is a valid start. "Here is why" gets faster resolution.
